i think that technology can hurt our education by the shocks that gives us our education if something goes wrong we will get badly hurt or probably even die and loose a few years of learning and have to learn it agian. By:Steven Delossantos
I think that technology can hurt our education because students would depend on technology more than they should. And students would be on the computer all the time and it would get boring. And if you plug the information in you brain like the man said you would know everything and you wouldn't explore the world yourself and ask the question how or why when you already know. Also learning how to learn is the real education and no technology can replace it.
Based on the technology we have today I would say, yes it is a threat to our education. Technology takes our minds away from the everyday things that need to be done. For example not doing your homework because you are too busy watching vines, or, not doing your classwork because you are thinking about the movie your going to watch after school. Even when not in front of a device our minds wander to it and we can never be focused on our task at hand. This is a threat because soon our minds get used to our devices up to the point where we can't process any information unless its on a screen in front of us. Technology can damage our minds and we won't be able to apprehend any information at all. There is always time for technology, we just have to put our studies first and focus on our main goal in life as kids to get through school, meet our goal, and make good choices. - Charlisa Kollie
i think that technology is a threat to our education. Because if you use the technology for bad things and use it daily it can cause you to act the same way the thing your watching and get a detention for your behavior and more things can go wrong so every kid might want to slow down with the internet and deal with your edcation first then be good on the internet. I agree with Yarieliz that learning how to learn is the most important thing and technology can't teach you that. I also like what Charlisa and Jasmine said about technology being distracting, however, think about this question: If I didn't use technology in our class, would I be leaving out something important that you would need to help you learn??

i think that technology can be a threat to our education because kids would be on there phone all day and would get a zero when they go to school because they did not do there homework. technology is also a threat to our education because it can become an excuse to not do something. last but not least technology can become a threat to our education because kids would soon only take orders from there computers,tablets,phones and plenty more. so thats why i think technology can become a threat to our education!!!!

I think technology can be a threat to our education because kids focus on their phones, tablets , laptops. Now kids wont focus on their homework , tests, quizzes or other topics. That's why they end up failing a class or failing all classes. Kids end up using these things for gaming and music videos. Some kids use this technology for studying or for educational questions. I think technology is a threat to education, I think because if we keep searching the internet for our answers, how are we supposed to learn? Like for example if we keep using calculators instead of showing our work how will we learn what the answer to the problem is. I also think that technology as improved our life in many ways. Is technology a threat to our education I do not think that technology is a threat to our education because lets say its thursday and you have a dentist apointment and you were feeling rushed but you forgot your study book in your locker or the library is closed than it would be easier to use a tablet computer or a mobile phone to write down and study new notes. In that case technology would not be a threat to our education but it all depends on how you choose technology.
