  1. I think people do still read newspapers because either they don't have access to the internet, they are probably banned from the internet because of their religion, or they just like newspapers better than the internet.

  2. I think newspapers should still be around because what if the internet goes away. The only thing we would have if newspapers to see what is going on. We don't know internet could be banned one day. Victoria Galarza

  3. I think that newspaper is not a thing from the past because some don't like using the internet or watching the news. Some people might be Amish so they don't use electrical things. That's what I think. By:Luisafernanda Perez

  5. I think newspapers are a thing of the past because now we have technology. Yea people still read news papers but not as often as in the old days. People can just search up anything on their Mobil devices. Thats why In my opinion newspapers are a thing of the past.

  6. I think people should use newspapers because say if we had a black out how are we going to know what is going to happen. Sometimes the internet is usally wrong instead of right.

  7. I think newspapers are a thing of the past but not exactly. Everyone is using technology or just watch television to get the information they need but not all families use technology or don't have the money to afford it so they use newspapers. Also though the internet can sometimes lie,so some families could go to newspapers if they don't really think that something the internet said happened. The majority of the people in the world use technology so only a few people read newspapers. Many depend on tech but if your in a problem with money then you could always turn to newspapers thats a little bit more reliable than tech.

  9. I think newspapers are things from the past for some people. For kids and adults ages 20-60 use the internet to see what's happening in the world. But, for people ages 60 an up still use newspapers to know what's happening in the world. Even adults that are 20 and more use newspapers. Elianis Cruz period 6 11/27/14

  10. They use the internet to get information , because I really don't think people are going to waste their time reading newspapers when they have the internet . Also its much easier to get information from the internet. That is what I think about people getting information from the internet instead of newspapers. BY BRENDA GARCIA SANCHEZ.

I like feeling like the good old days.Sometimes i wish i was born in the 90's. Don't you? I know some people like to get everything o line but i don't. So i don't think that's a thing from the past. I dont think that newspapers are a thing of the past. Most people under 19 or even older don't really use newspapers. Today we have things like Wikipedia and Google but they are not always accurate. Newspapers are accurate and sometimes free, getting Internet can sometIles be a struggle. Newspapers are not a thing of the past but if they aren't being bought or read they might as well go. Most newspapers are made out of recycled materials. The ones that aren't and that aren't bring bought as much should go. They are cutting down tress in order to make paper through big factories that's are polluting the air (and at the same time they are cutting doen trees that give us oxygen).

  15. I don't think news papers are a thing from the past. Some people can't use internet cause they are Amish which means they can't use electrical things.or they just don't know how to use a phone, tablet,or laptop cause they might just be used to newspapers. But its not used very often now in the modern days.people use Google,Bing chrome ect. but most of the information aren't accuret or true.people might think that its boring and old but people still read it for many purposes. This is why I think that newspapers is not a thing from the past. WHENEDY GONZALEZ.

  16. I don't think that newspapers are the thing in the past. I say no because some people don't have access to the internet and or have a computer or a phone. So they find a newspaper to entertain themselves. Also, kids today think that newspapers are lame and don't think that they should exist. This is why I think that newspapers are not things in the past. -Devonte Ayala
